The SAS technology in the Avias triply stainless steel tope is a triple-layer construction comprising stainless steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

The inner layer is constructed of  304 grade stainless steel, which is rust-free and is food safe. The middle layer is entirely made of aluminum, ensuring uniform heat distribution and the third layer is constructed of 430 stainless steel which makes it compatible to be used on various heat sources like gas, induction, electrical and halogen.
